Metabolic Correction
Metabolic Correction Programme

Did you know that a large number of people have some level of insulin resistance - often for 10 to 15 years or more - before being diagnosed with diabetes? What’s more, your HbA1c blood test can miss the blood sugar spikes that may be driving inflammation and worsening your chronic health issues. This hidden aspect of metabolic health is something we’re here to help you understand and improve. This is a big deal because imbalances in blood sugar and energy regulation are major drivers of inflammation in the body. It’s about much more than just diabetes risk; insulin resistance affects everything from autoimmune conditions, chronic infections, and cognitive decline (sometimes called type 3 diabetes) to chronic fatigue and pain disorders.

We have found through our clinical experience that even those who have a normal HbA1C and fasting glucose level on a blood test do in fact have a metabolic dysfunction that is contributing to their disease process. On using this Metabolic Correction Programme we have observed profound improvement in these individuals. And all using techniques that are dietary based and 'free' lifestyle changes and awareness. The basics truly do make the mark in your recovery,

When something as fundamental as blood sugar and energy balance gets out of sync, it’s tough to fully heal from chronic inflammation. Factors like a Western diet high in processed carbs and sugars, inconsistent protein intake, stress, lack of exercise, and nutritional gaps can all contribute to this imbalance.

That’s where the power of a ketogenic diet comes in. By shifting your body’s energy source, this way of eating helps correct energy deficits at the cellular level - your mitochondria thrive, antioxidants get replenished, and the need for supplements often diminishes as your own inherent protective systems in your body all come on board.
Alongside other lifestyle factors like aligning with your natural sleep cycle and daylight exposure, this program supports you in making sustainable dietary changes that lead to a real biological upgrade. The benefits ripple through your entire body, helping you feel younger and reducing your risk of chronic Western diseases.

We also take a thoughtful approach to ancestral eating patterns, understanding that not all “primitive” diets are the same. For example, many popular trends overemphasize certain foods like nuts or out-of-season produce, which can sometimes add to inflammation. Our program customizes guidance to fit your unique needs, as everyone is different.

Whether you’re lean or carrying extra weight, metabolic health matters. People with low body fat can struggle because they don’t have enough fat storage capacity under the skin, which can lead to fat accumulating around organs and triggering inflammation. On the other hand, excess fat tissue can produce inflammatory signals that keep the cycle going. We address all these factors to help restore balance.

We begin with comprehensive blood testing and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) to get a clear, scientific picture of your health. This lets us track your progress and tailor the program to your body’s needs every step of the way.

You might have heard concerns about ketogenic diets and thyroid health. We monitor thyroid function closely throughout the program. Interestingly, as your cells become more efficient, your body may need less thyroid hormone to work well so a slight decrease in T3 is often a positive adaptation, not a problem. Since this is a one-on-one program, we work together to address all your questions and design the best path forward for your unique metabolism and health goals.

Important Note for Individuals with Mental Health Conditions:
This programme may be highly beneficial for those experiencing mental health challenges. We strongly recommend discussing your suitability and readiness with your mental health professional before booking. This will ensure you have the right support in place for any adjustments to medication or treatment that may be required. Addressing insulin resistance in the brain can alter your body’s internal environment in ways that may have significant positive effects on psychiatric symptoms, and it’s important to make these changes safely and in collaboration with your care team.
