Keeley is passionate about healthy living, nourishing the body and mind, and empowering individuals to live life well.
She originally trained and worked as a dentist. In 2012, she decided to return to academia to study for a master’s degree in Nutritional Therapy (MSc), at Worcester University, and was awarded a MSc with distinction in 2017.
Her drive to return to study was initiated by her sister’s ill health, and subsequent diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Keeley was dismayed by the reactive approach to health care, waiting for symptoms to worsen to such an extent that a disease could be diagnosed and then medication prescribed. She felt that there was more that could be implemented as means of identifying underlying deficiency, and system imbalances, and the consideration of diet and lifestyle to stabilise or reverse disease outcomes.

Functional medicine puts the body’s function at the focus of creating optimal health, fundamentally aiming to identify the root cause(s) of symptoms. It was in her first week at university, studying for her master’s
degree that Functional Medicine became her new passion. Her decision to become a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, was made in that moment.

Keeley attended and completed the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) training in London in 2018 and continued to study with the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM) to work through the
six Advanced Practice Modules (APMs) for her to qualify for the exam which resulted in her certification in 2021.

Keeley is now one of only 1800 Certified Functional Medicine Practitioners, globally.

Keeley remains passionate in her desire to empower as many people as possible to start listening to their own body, and to take positive actions to acquire and maintain the very best of health.

Aware the impact that stress, trauma, and emotional situations can have on physical health, Keeley also trained to become an Emotional Freedom Technique and Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner. This practice, rather like ‘acupuncture without the needles’, enables individuals to address limiting beliefs, which have arisen from past trauma, freeing them to live more fulfilled and joyful lives. Keeley sees her clients experience incredible health transformations. They become well, resolve digestive issues, lose weight, regain energy, reverse diabetes, reduce pain, restore fertility, and improve cognitive function.

‘Your body is your home, and you need it to stay here. Care for it, look after it, and give it the respect it deserves.’ Donna Ashworth

Keeley lives in rural Worcestershire, with her daughter Freya. Her loves include Pilates, yoga, sunshine, running, skiing, great food, and coffee. She aspires to travel the world, live in a foreign country, climb
a mountain, and truly improve the health of the nation.
